Celestia and Luna

Just something real quick I needed to get out of my head before I end up leaving it in my folder forever.Aaaaand again with a simple background just because(At least I'm not like Kubo Tite...yet) I may or may not edit it later.

I apologize for not drawing anything since...ummm...May of last year...wtf...but work has been taking my time;saving for a master degree,my scanner joined forces with satan again,my PC was dead for some time,been using a "Pentslow III" in the meantime,bought a new one,etc,etc.

Now enough babbling about random stuff,now on the pic.I'm pretty sure the fans of pony are familiar with the whole "Theory" about young Celestia having pink mane.Well,It doesn't look that much of a "theory" since the first episode pretty much showed her like that and she started having her characteristic rainbow mane after she defeated Nightmare-Moon,then again,it was a story book but well...Anyway,We all saw how Luna's original design was changed when they hit Season 2 adding her an (imo) awesome Space-like mane.Many fans(and mostly because of Faust headcanon) started to associate Luna's old design with her being young or depowered.

The same idea was applied to Celestia and plenty of people drew her with Pink mane when they wanted to portray her as a foal or a teen.However,I noticed that most of those pink manes are just simply pink versions of the "Waving Mane" Adult Celestia has.

Young/Depowered Luna has a very distinctive manestyle that changes almost drastically when she acquires her starry mane.I thought It would be nice that Celestia had one as well.

Some people like and have already done some nice variations.So I thought I could contribute with something.

I still need a tablet...like nao.
